Chinacomm network roll out service strictly
adheres to the network planning and network
roll out project plan, ensuring the quality
of the implementation of network roll out. At
the same time, it coordinates the network cut
over and works on BTS trouble shooting, to facilitate
the hand-over after network cut over and ensure
the in-time conducting of network maintenance
and optimization, thus allowing the operator
to provide a network with stable quality to
the subscribers. Chinacomm network roll out
service includes switching installation and
testing, base station installation and testing;
and initial tuning services.
Switching installation and
testing
Major works of switching installation and testing
include three portions, namely, hardware installation,
local testing and on-line testing.
Hardware installation including installation
of switch cabinet, power supply installation,
grounding line distribution, signal line connection
and installation of various electric circuit
boards.
Local testing includes powering to all modules
of system; loading hardware testing data; finding
and resolving problems on hardware; and testing
the function of system.
On-line testing includes uploading network data,
network access testing, finding and resolving
problems occurred, observing operation quality
of the equipment, and resolving problems during
the preliminary stage of operation.
Base station installation
and testing
Major works of base station installation
and testing include three portions, namely,
hardware installation, local set testing and
on-line testing. Hardware installation include
installation of indoor equipment of mobile communication
base station; mounting of outdoor antennas and
feeders; installation of power supply equipment
of mobile communication base station; mounting
of transmission device and environment monitoring
device. Local testing includes verification
of working status of all components in base
station; correctness of hardware configuration
and parameter setting; eliminating warning of
all modules; and finding and resolving problems
in hardware. On-line testing includes download
of data; putting equipment into operation; testing
the quality of the installed equipment; and
resolving problems occurred during the preliminary
stage of operation.
Initial Tuning
Initial tuning includes doing drive test right
after the network cutover; finding problems
on network quality in time; collecting statistical
data of network performance after cut over and
collecting of subscriber complaints; evaluating
and analyzing of network quality; checking and
verifying radio network frequency planning and
neighboring cell definition. It also includes
BTS troubleshooting in coordination with network
cut over, to ensure that the network is basically
in conformity with the one designed. It also
includes ensuring of no obvious quality problem
in existence, well working base stations, proper
handover between cells and stable network performance.
